No Choke Glow-discharge Lamp Illuminating Circuit

Voltage doubler assembled from elements D1, C3 – D2, C4 (fig.1). After Glow-discharge Lamp Illuminates the Current takes the path through C1, D1, L1, D4 – D3, L1, D2, C2 part of Circuit.

Condensers C1, C2 are the Reactive Load. Their polarity corresponds to Diodes D1, D2.

Powerful lamps require high voltage of lighting up, for this purpose to take voltage multiplier, fig.2.
