In industrial automation the RS 485 interfaces working on symmetric flow lines are widely used. The differential pairs of wires are used in RS 485 interfaces for data communication. No less popular are interfaces RS 232. The circuit of the RS 232 to RS 485 converter is represented on a figure. Communication between objects is carried out through the twisted pair of wires with the galvanic upshot between potentials of users. Distance between objects is 1200 m.
