Circuit of simple but effective metal detector is represented on fig.1. The basis of metal locator is Hartley oscillator. A searching coil consist of 80 coils of isolated wire. A coil has a diameter 200 mm fig.2. Communication with a receiver is carried out by coupling aerial (900 mm). Adjust a receiver and switch on a metal detector. Than adjust turning C2 until the «beating» appeared in a receiver. Thus both devices transform into height sensible metal locator.
